Easy spoiler [Req]
« on: August 09, 2011, 07:03:35 AM »
hey,

I just discovered your plugin today and I'm loving it! It looks so great compared to what I was using before :)

I'd just like to ask if you can add a certain feature; the ability to select all the text of the spoiler code.

I use the plugin to share mass links, so this would be pretty cool.

e.g.
[s.p.oiler]
url
url2
url3
url4[/s.p.oiler] would have the option to select all the text of that spoiler, so it can then be easily copied with Ctrl+C.

Is that easy/possible to do?

Awaiting your response :)

sorry wasn't ignoring you... got busy.  so you want a button in the title bar to copy the contents to the user's clipboard?  Might be able to do that.  Let me take a look and get back to you.

Yep that's what I want, though just selecting everything would be preferred as AFAIK copying to clipboard would need Flash, and Im sure many would prefer a pure javascript solution.

Ok you are right... I cannot copy to clipboard, but have some code to select contents of the spoiler (images and all).

I am almost done now.  Am taking the opportunity to clean up the use of the buttons with a more modern use of subtle links.

Will be submitted this weekend probably.  Ill add an admin panel option to turn the select button off.

Ok v1.1 is submitted.  Below are the change notes:

 * Flat, more subtle buttons
 * Option for using title as the show/hide toggle now changes mouse pointer to indicate it is an actionable area
 * Improved iframe support
 * new select button option which will provide a 'select' button on the title bar for auto-selecting the
   spoiler content.
 * Admin option to enable/disable select button feature and to configure the text of the select button

Post back if you have problems

Are you saying you do not get the select button?  Do you have the "Show select button" checked on the admin page?

The button was redesigned to be flat.  An update is being worked on now to bring back the original look as a style option.  Note on the admin page there is a "button style" at the bottom.  There will be a new option called 'classic' which will bring the button back.

The update has a few other fixes as well.  It is not out yet but will be soon
