iPad and iPhone Apps / Parse Yahoo pipes feeds
« on: August 04, 2011, 09:54:39 AM »
I use a feed that is run through a Yahoo pipe for some server-side filtering. feedHopper can't read it.

iPad and iPhone Apps / Smooth Instapapering
« on: August 04, 2011, 09:54:09 AM »
The first time I tapped Send to Instapaper I was told where to configure my account. Why was there a dismiss button but no "take me there"?

It also seems silly to have to dismiss a confirmation alert every time I send something. The grey overlay and spinner are feedback enough.

iPad and iPhone Apps / Mark unread
« on: August 04, 2011, 09:50:52 AM »
After import feeds I may want to mark all except the newest item read. I tried by marking all read but then couldn't find how to mark one item unread. Seems like this would be useful in other cases, too.

iPad and iPhone Apps / Auto-refresh

Is it possible to have feedHopper refresh on launch, unless it was run in the last n hours? Fewer taps = more fun!

iPad and iPhone Apps / Import from Mail

That the FAQ explains the clipboard workaround doesn't make it less crazy. How about supporting "Open In"?

BTW both the FAQ and help text in the import dialog mention a save button. I only see a close button.

iPad and iPhone Apps / (resolved) Problematic feeds
« on: March 07, 2011, 12:04:36 PM »
http://gtweetapp.appspot.com (I could message you the exact URL) doesn't work well in feedHopper, after every refresh there's a seemingly random number of unread items, most of which I already marked read the last time. Maybe the RSS is broken, but my desktop reader handles it fine.

iPad and iPhone Apps / (resolved) Support for folders in OPML
« on: March 06, 2011, 06:55:53 PM »
NetNewsWire for the Mac can write "groups" to OPML. feedHopper imported that fine, but flattened the hierarchy. Creating "categories" instead would be nice.
